BIG EAST Player of the Week
Alex Smith, Xavier, MB, Jr.
Smith led the Musketeers to a 3-0 win against DePaul with a hitting percentage of .800, the best percentage in the BIG EAST this season. She posted a .630 hitting mark over two matches. Smith had 12 kills against DePaul and six kills in a 3-1 loss to Marquette. For the two contests, she had 18 kills on just 27 attempts. Xavier finished the regular season in a tie for second place with Creighton.
BIG EAST Rookie of the Week
Autumn Bailey, Marquette, OH, Fr.
Bailey averaged 5.38 kills per set and 2.62 digs per set in 3-1 victories against Xavier and Butler. She had a match-high 26 kills against Xavier and a hitting percentage of .408. The win over Xavier on Friday gave the Golden Eagles the outright BIG EAST regular season title.

Morgan Peterson, Butler, S, Sr.
In a 1-1 week, amassed 87 assists, 39 digs, 12 kills and 12 blocks. In a win against DePaul, had 44 assists and 17 digs.
Lauren Smith, Creighton, MB, Fr.
Averaged 3.67 kills and 0.67 blocks per set in victories against Georgetown and Villanova. Hit .500 over both matches.
Elizabeth Koberstein, Marquette, S, Sr.
Helped the Golden Eagles with 60 assists in each win against Xavier and Butler. The single-match assist total is her second highest this season.
Shelbey Manthorpe, Seton Hall, S, Jr.
In a 3-1 win against St. John’s, recorded her 10th triple-double of the season with 39 assists, 13 kills and 15 digs. Also had seven blocks.
Abbey Bressler, Xavier, OH, Fr.
Averaged 3.71 kills and coincidentally 3.71 digs per set in a 1-1 week. Connected on 18 kills and had a .317 hitting percentage in a 3-1 loss to Marquette. Had a match-high 17 digs in a win over DePaul.
