Seton Hall 67, Wake Forest 57
Behind a solid defensive effort and a double-double from Donnaizha Fountain Seton Hall (2-0) picked up a win at Wake Forest (1-1) by a score of 67-57 on Sunday afternoon at the LJVM Coliseum. Fountain led all players with 18 points and 13 rebounds for her first double-double as a Pirate. The Pirates did not trail in the second half and staved off a fourth quarter rally, holding the Demon Deacons to 21 points in the second half. Kaela Hilaire (Floral Park, N.Y.) made five clutch free throws down the stretch and finished with 11 points, five assists and three steals off the bench. Taylor Brown (Paterson, N.J.) was the third Pirate in double figures with 11 points, despite being limited to 18 minutes due to foul trouble.
