Trailing 30-22 in the second quarter, the Hoyas went on a 17-5 run to close out the half and take their first lead 37-35. Never looking back, Georgetown improved to 2-0 with a 72-54 victory at Loyola. Junior guard Dionna White led the way with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Senior guard Mikayla Venson added 20 points and seven boards, while senior forward Cynthia Petke managed her second consecutive double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Xavier 72, Grambling State 67
Jada Byrd and Imani Partlow combined for 34 points, leading Xavier to a 72-67 victory over Grambling State at Cintas Center. With a career-high 18 points, Byrd shot an efficient 5-for-7 from the field, while Partlow posted her third career double-double, recording 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Freshman Aaliyah Dunham scored in double figures for the second consecutive game, posting 11 points, as the Musketeers improved to 3-0.

Princeton 85, Seton Hall 83
Seton Hall (2-1) dropped a battle to Princeton (2-0) 85-83 at Walsh Gymnasium. The setback was The Hall's first of the season and came despite 21 points from Donnaizha Fountain and a double-double from Taylor Brown (13 pts, 11 rebs). In a game that featured 10 ties and 10 lead changes, The Hall led throughout the first half and took a five-point advantage to the break. But a strong start to the fourth quarter gave the Tigers a double-digit lead before a furious late rally by The Hall that came up just shy.
