Creighton and Providence pick up Tuesday night wins.

Creighton 89, Northern Iowa 78 (2OT)
Trailing 65-59 with 76 seconds remaining, Creighton pulled another win out as junior Audrey Faber's running jumper in the paint at the buzzer forced overtime allowing the Bluejays to outlast Northern Iowa, 89-78, in double overtime. The win lifted Creighton to 3-1 on the season, while Northern Iowa fell to 1-2. Faber finished with a game-high 29 points, while Jaylyn Agnew posted her first career double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds.

Providence 78, Savannah State 48
Providence (2-2) defeated Savannah State, 78-48, on the opening day of the Savannah Invitational on Nov. 21 in Savannah, Ga. Junior Jovana Nogic scored a team-high 24 points on 8-17 shooting from the field, including a 7-14 performance from three-point territory. Overall, 10 Friars cracked the scoring column and combined for 20 assists on 30 made buckets. The two teams played to an 18-18 tie through the first quarter, but Providence opened up the game with a 24-4 scoring advantage in the second quarter to take a 42-22 lead at halftime. The Friars maintained control of the game the rest of the way. The lead ballooned to 31 (58-27) with 3:05 left in the third quarter, and led by as many as 33 (76-43) with 4:36 left in regulation.
