25/24 Villanova 62, Princeton 59
Playing their first game as a nationally ranked team, the Wildcats traveled to Princeton where they registered a 62-59 win over the host Tigers. The No. 25/24 Wildcats improve to 6-0 on the season. In the win, Alex Louin led three Wildcats in double figures with 16 points, while Adrianna Hahn had 15 points and Mary Gedaka tallied 12 points. Tied at 48-48 seconds into the final quarter, Villanova used a 14-5 run to lead by nine with 4:03 left. Princeton whittled the lead down to three with 40 seconds left, but the game-tying attempt as time expired was rejected by Bridget Herlihy to keep Villanova undefeated.

Providence 55, Yale 51
The Friars improved to 5-2 overall and have won four-straight games heading into this weekend's Ocean State Tip-Off Tournament (Dec. 2-3). Jovana Nogic recorded a game-high 18 points and added six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Ny-Asia Franklin finished the game with 12 points and three rebounds, while Maddie Jolin chipped in 10 points and a team-best seven rebounds. Providence shot 52.5-percent from the field (21-40), including 43.8-percent from three-point territory (7-16). Providence got a huge lift from its bench, outscoring the Bulldogs 20-3.

Xavier 62, Fort Wayne 50
Senior tandem Anniina Äijänen and Jada Byrd combined for 32 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, leading the Musketeers to a 62-50 win over Fort Wayne. Xavier hit its first three shots to take an early 7-0 lead and force a Fort Wayne timeout. The Musketeers led from start to finish with the Mastodons only getting as close as one point, 19-18, with seven minutes left in the first half. Overall, Byrd scored a career-high 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting, while adding a career-high six assists. Äijänen matched her career-high in scoring with 13 points on 6-for-13 shooting and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

Georgetown 77, FIU 56
Junior guard Dionna White had a huge night with 24 points, scoring her 1,000th career point. White added a career-high 13 rebounds, to tally a double-double in the win. Senior forward Cynthia Petke also recorded a double-double with a pair of career highs of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Senior guard Mikayla Venson rounded out those in double figures with 18 points.

Ball State 87, Butler 75
Butler outscored Ball State 19-15 in the fourth quarter, but the comeback would fall short allowing the Cardinals to remain undefeated (6-0). Whitney Jennings hit nine of her 21 attempts to net 26 points for the Bulldogs. She hit five 3-point field goals and added five assists and three steals to her stat line. Kristen Spolyar came up with 13 points off the BU bench and Tori Schickel ended the contest with nine points and a team-high 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs got within six points with 1:13 to play, but they simply ran out of time. Ball State hit six free throws in crunch time to hold on and secure their sixth win of the season.
