For the first time since 2011-12, all BIG EAST teams finished the opening month of play with a .500 or better record. All 10 league squads combined for a 43-20 (.683) November mark, with the 43 wins being the most since conference realignment (2013-14). Of those 43 wins, eight came against leagues which sent multiple teams to the NCAA Tournament in 2017, highlighted by a 3-0 record against ACC foes and a 2-2 mark against the Big Ten.

Seton Hall 85, Marist 60
An explosive second quarter helped Seton Hall to a dominant victory at historic Walsh Gymnasium. Taylor Brown led five Pirates in double-figures with 16 points in the triumph. The Pirates continued their season-long trend of defensive pressure in the win, forcing 27 Marist turnovers and outscoring the Red Foxes 32-15 off turnovers. Joining Brown atop the scoring column for The Hall was Inja Butina with a career-high 13 points and JaQuan Jackson with 12.

St. John’s 71, Albany 66
Led by a stellar shooting effort from Andrayah Adams, St. John’s closed out a 71-66 win at Albany. Adams finished with a season-high 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting including an incredible 6-of-7 showing from long distance. Redshirt freshman Tiana England narrowly missed a double-double with a season-high 16 points to go along with nine assists. England hit all six of her attempts from the floor including her lone try from beyond the arc and added a season-best seven rebounds. From the field, St. John’s shot a season-best 57.4 percent (27-for-47) including a 7-for-12 showing from long distance.
