Red Storm top James Madison with balanced attack for third consecutive win.

St. John’s 81, James Madison 64
The Red Storm (6-2) used a 23-12 third quarter scoring outburst to propel the home side to its third-consecutive win and remain perfect on its home floor. Akina Wellere led the Johnnies with 18 points, but it was the play of redshirt freshman Tiana England that turned heads on the afternoon. The guard dropped 17 points on a perfect 6-for-6 day from the field, while adding eight assists, six rebounds, two steals, and a block in a dominating performance. St. John’s led by as many as 21 thanks to a 50-percent team shooting clip, including a 55.6-percent mark from deep.

Sacred Heart 78, Providence 75
Providence (6-5) held a 75-72 edge with 1:43 on the clock, but the Friars went 0-5 from the field down the stretch and committed an untimely turnover with 11 seconds to play and just a one-point deficit (76-75). Sacred Heart converted a pair of free throws to make it a three-point lead (78-75) with 10-seconds left and held on for the win. Providence's three attempts from three-point territory to close the game were off the mark. Jovana Nogic finished the day with 24 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal.
