BIG EAST teams combine to go 5-1 on Sunday, while Creighton’s Sydney Lamberty surpasses 1,000 career points.

22/20 Villanova 69, Temple 65
The No. 22/20 Wildcats improved to 9-0 on the season and 2-0 in Philadelphia Big 5 play with a 69-65 road win at Temple. In the victory, Adrianna Hahn led four Wildcats in double figures with 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field. She also had six rebounds and four assists. Alex Louin finished with 15 points (6-of-9 from the field), while senior center Megan Quinn had 12 points and Jannah Tucker added 10 points.

Creighton 72, Nebraska-Omaha 51
Senior Sydney Lamberty delivered a game-high 21 points, becoming the 28th Bluejay to cross the 1,000-point mark, as Creighton completed a sweep of the state with a 72-51 win over Nebraska-Omaha. The victory pushed the Bluejays to 5-3 on the season, while UNO fell to 7-3. Joining Lamberty in double figures were Jaylyn Agnew who delivered 15 points and Bailey Norby who tallied a season-high 11 points.

Seton Hall 73, Boston College 53
Donnaizha Fountain put on a show in front of her hometown crowd to lead the Seton Hall (7-2) to a 73-53 victory at Boston College (4-6). Playing in the greater Boston area for the first time in her collegiate career, Fountain went for 21 points and 10 rebounds to pace The Hall to its second road win over an ACC foe this season. The Pirates led wire-to-wire, out-scoring the Eagles in all four quarters of a balanced win. In support of Fountain, JaQuan Jackson poured in 15 points on 4-of-6 shooting from deep. Kaela Hilaire stuffed the stat sheet with six points, four rebounds, two steals and a season-high eight assists in her first start of the season.

RV/RV Marquette 83, Army West Point 53
Marquette used a balanced scoring attack led by 21 points from junior Natisha Hiedeman and tough defense to beat Army 83-53 at the Al McGuire Center. Five Golden Eagles (5-4) scored in double figures, including Hiedeman's 21, 12 points and six rebounds each from Allazia Blockton and Erika Davenport and 10 point apiece for Danielle King and Amani Wilborn, who also grabbed six boards and dished a team-high four assists. Marquette closed the home portion of non-conference play a perfect 4-0 mark, with an average margin of victory of over 36 points. The Golden Eagles will not return home until they host St. John's in the start of BIG EAST play Dec. 28.

Xavier 53, Cincinnati 50
Xavier won its fourth straight game over Cincinnati, 53-50, on Sunday evening in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout. The Musketeers (5-3) have now won 11 of the last 14 meetings against the Bearcats (6-4). Xavier attempted a school-record 35 3-pointers, knocking down 10 shots from behind the arc. The Musketeers have made 10 or more three pointers in a game three times this season. Kindell Fincher scored a team-high 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting. She added five rebounds and one assist, while Princess Stewart added a season-high 12 points on 5-for-9 shooting. The freshman guard added a game-high five assists to go along with five rebounds.

NC State 63, Georgetown 49
Georgetown fell, 63-49, to NC State (8-2) Sunday afternoon at Reynolds Coliseum. With the loss, the Hoyas move to 4-5 overall with one nonconference game remaining. Senior forward Cynthia Petke led the way with 15 points and 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, leading the Hoyas in both categories. Senior guard Mikayla Venson added 14 points. Georgetown was outrebounded by the Wolfpack, 50-30, and shot 33 percent (20-of-61) in the contest while NC State hit 41 percent (24-of-59) from the field. The Hoya defense forced 19 turnovers and had eight steals in the contest.
