20/18 Villanova 76, LaSalle 49
The nationally ranked Wildcats improved to 10-0 on the season, including 5-0 as a ranked squad, with an emphatic win at La Salle. Paced by Kelly Jekot’s 20 points, Villanova rebounded from a slow start which caught the Wildcats trailing 9-2 early by outscoring the Explorers 48-17 between the second and third quarters. Villanova held La Salle to single-digit points in both frames to bump its lead to as many as 31. The Wildcats shot .453 for the game, including .474 from deep, while committing just eight turnovers.

2/2 Notre Dame 91, RV/NR Marquette 85 OT
Six players recorded double figures as Marquette took No. 2 Notre Dame to the brink, but the Golden Eagles could not complete the upset as the squad fell to the Fighting Irish, 91-85 in overtime at Purcell Pavilion. Allazia Blockton led Marquette (6-5) with 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season, while Erika Davenport also tallied her third double-double with 19 points and a career-best 16 rebounds. Neither team led by more than eight in a game which featured eight lead changes and five ties. Marquette won the first and fourth quarters while the Irish took the second and third. Notre Dame scored the first six points in overtime and led for the final five minutes, though a jumper by Blockton cut the lead to just two points, 87-85 with 12 seconds left in the game. The Fighting Irish went 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the last 10 seconds.

RV/RV DePaul 85, IUPUI 71
The Blue Demons closed out non-league play with an 8-4 record thanks to a 14-point win over visiting IUPUI. Amarah Coleman led four DePaul players in double figures with 20 points to go along with five boards, four steals and two assists. Kelly Campbell tallied seven assists and 16 rebounds to help facilitate the high-paced Blue Demon offense. DePaul shot .458 for the game while holding the Jaguars to a .394 clip. Tanita Allen posted her second double-double of the year with 12 points, 10 boards.
