BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Andres Arcila, Seton Hall, Sr., M (Cartagena, Columbia)

Pirate senior midfielder Andres Arcila helped Seton Hall to a 3-0-0 week, including a pair of come-from-behind wins on the road. Arcila led the league in points last week with nine on three goals and three assists. Two of his goals were game-winners. After picking up an assist on the eventual game-winner against Sacred Heart on Sept. 4, Arcila notched game-winning goals in away victories at Princeton (Sept. 7) and at Penn (Sept. 10). Arcila had foot on every goal as he marked a league-high six points at Princeton with two goals and two assists in the 4-3 overtime win. Seton Hall had rallied back from a 3-0 deficit. He capped the triumph with a free kick golden goal in the 105th minute. Against Penn on Sunday night, Arcila added another game-winner, connecting on a direct free kick in the 59th minute. Arcila currently leads the league in points (11).  Seton Hall’s three-game win streak was the first since 2011.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Sasa Labovic, DePaul, So., D (Schererville, Ind.)
Blue Demon Sasa Labovic helped DePaul to a 3-1 over Drake on Friday as he helped lead a back field that held the Bulldogs to just seven shots in the match, with only two landing on goal. The one goal that was allowed didn’t go through until the 84th minute. In addition to his defense, he also dished out two of the three DePaul assists in the match.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Andrew Withers, St. John’s, RS-Jr. (Wellington, New Zealand)
St. John’s junior keeper Andrew Withers posted a 1-0-1 week in goal for the Red Storm with two shutouts and seven saves in 200 minutes of action. Withers made five saves in the 0-0 double overtime draw with Hofstra and two in a 2-0 win over Temple. Withers leads the league in goals against average (0.38) and save percentage (.900) for the season and ties with JT Marcinkowski with three shutouts on the season.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Elliot Munford, Seton Hall, Fr., GK (Auckland, New Zealand)
Seton Hall rookie keeper Elliot Munford went 3-0-0 in the net for the Pirate’s historic week, finishing with a 1.27 goals against average and a .714 save percentage. The freshman played a total of 283:55 on the week and made 10 saves, highlighted by a four-save shutout against Sacred Heart on Sept. 4.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Luke Haakenson, Creighton, So., M (Maple Grove, Minn.)
Scored the game-winning goal during the 62nd minute of Friday’s 2-0 win over South Florida.
JT Marcinkowski, Georgetown, Jr., GK (Alamo, Calif.)
Played 200 minutes in a 1-0-1 week for the No. 18 Hoyas with four saves, one in a 1-0 victory against then-No. 15 UCLA and three in a 1-1 draw on the road at Connecticut.
Mac Steeves, Providence, RS-Sr., F (Needham, Mass.)
Steeves marked a seven-point week with three goals and an assist. Steeves opened the week with two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over Bryant. He scored the lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Harvard.
Max Kroschwitz, Villanova, Sr., F (Pipersville, Pa.)
Kroschwitz scored the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Delaware on a PK goal in the 107th minute on Wednesday. It was the senior’s first goal since returning from a knee injury that cost him the 2016 season.
Simen Hestnes, Xavier, Jr., M (Oslo, Norway)
Hestnes scored Xavier’s first goal and assisted on the equalizer as the Musketeers came from behind to defeat then-No. 22 Boston College on the road. It was his second-straight multi-point match following a two-goal outing against Harvard the week prior.
