Home teams go 4-0 as RV/RV Marquette, NR/RV DePaul and St. John’s extend winning streaks.

Seton Hall 70, Georgetown 65
Head coach Anthony Bozzella picked up career win No. 400 as the Pirates improved to 11-8 on the year and 3-5 in BIG EAST play. A pair of Donnaizha Fountain free throws with 2:41 to play gave The Hall a 63-53 lead, which appeared comfortable until the Hoyas reeled off a 10-2 run in 90 seconds of game time to get within a possession at 65-63. The two squads traded free-throws over the next 40 seconds before two more freebies by Fountain made it a two-possession game again. Jayla Jones-Pack provided the exclamation point from the charity stripe with 13 seconds left to clinch the SHU win. Fountain recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 boards, while the Hoyas were led by Mikayla Venson’s game-high 28 points off 9-of-16 shooting. Georgetown scored 24 points off 21 Pirate miscues to climb back into the contest, while The Hall won the inside battle with 26 points in the paint and a 39-32 rebounding edge.
