Playing at Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee, Marquette (4-1) rolled to a 96-32 victory over the University of Illinois-Chicago on Saturday afternoon. The game was the first for the Golden Eagles at the venue, which is home to the men's basketball program and the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. Amani Wilborn posted a game-high 18 points, while classmates Allazia Blockton and Natisha Hiedeman added 17 and 16 points, respectively. The 32 points allowed is the lowest opponent point total of MU head coach Carolyn Kieger's tenure and the lowest allowed for an MU team since a 68-19 victory over Vermont on Dec. 4, 2010. The Flames (1-3) shot just 18.2 percent for the game (10-of-55) and made just two field goals in each of the game's first two quarters.

St. John’s 64, Ole Miss 59
Highlighted by 17 free throws from Qadashah Hoppie that broke a 16-year old program record, St. John's (4-1) defeated SEC foe Ole Miss, 64-59, in its final game of the Paradise Jam on Saturday night. Hoppie was perfect from the charity stripe with 17 makes to break the program record that was previously held by Danielle Rainey who drained 15 against Texas-Arlington on Nov. 30, 2002. With 17 free throws, Hoppie scored a career-high 23 points, adding a pair of assists and a rebound to her name on the stat sheet.Preseason BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, Kadaja Bailey finished in double-figures for the third time in five games this season, recording 15 points on a 5-of-6 shooting effort from the floor.

No. 16/16 DePaul (3-2) made only three shots and went 0-for-15 from behind the arc in the first quarter, but that was wiped away by the eye-popping 21-0 run beginning with two minutes left in the third quarter and extending six minutes into the fourth. The Blue Demons went from trailing 58-43 to seizing a 64-58 lead while holding Syracuse (6-1) scoreless for eight minutes. Leading the way was Chante Stonewall's career-high 25 points and team-high 10 rebounds. Kelly Campbell approached a triple-double with 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while Ashton Millender added 11 points. DePaul led by as many as five in overtime, but the Orange closed the contest on a 9-2 run, including a game-winning layup at the buzzer.

Villanova (3-1) led 59-58 with 28 seconds to play, when Wildcat senior guard Adrianna Hahn misfired on a three and the Hokies had possession. Virginia Tech guard Taylor Emery drove to the basket and missed a runner in the lane, but Hokie forward Trinity Baptiste grabbed the offensive rebound and scored on the put back and was fouled. Baptiste's free throw gave Virginia Tech a 61-59 advantage with 2.8 seconds to play. Kelly Jekot matched the game high with 22 points, while Mary Gedaka was one board shy of a double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds. Nova remains in Orlando to face host -/RV UCF on Sunday.

The Bears started the game hot, scoring the first nine points, and never let up on the Hoyas in Georgetown’s final game in Las Vegas. GU was limited to .235 shooting in the first half as Baylor opened up a large-margin lead thanks .581 shooting on their side. Georgetown (4-3) saw Dionna White and Mikayla Venson both score 12 points, with White adding a game-high 12 rebounds, four assists and four steals.
