A dominant run at both ends of the court was the difference for DePaul as the Blue Demons notched their seventh win in the last eight games. Combined with Marquette’s one-point loss to Creighton on Sunday, DePaul (18-6, 10-2 BIG EAST) took over first place in the Conference standings. Chante Stonewall led the Blue Demons with 15 points and seven rebounds while Mart’e Grays continued her recent roll with 14 points and seven rebounds. For the Friars (9-16, 2-11), Chanell Williams shared the game high of 15 points.

Creighton 74, RV/RV Marquette 73
Trailing by two with under five seconds remaining, junior Audrey Faber gave her squad the final push it needed with an and-one as Creighton defeated the Golden Eagles, 74-73. The win lifted the Bluejays to 14-9 on the season and 8-5 in BIG EAST action, while Marquette fell to 15-8 overall and 9-3 in conference play. Faber drove the lane for the game-tying deuce and drew a foul before draining the go-ahead free throw with 2.1 second left. Marquette advanced the ball, but Allazia Blockton's 14-footer bounced off the rim to give the Bluejays the victory. Sydney Lamberty tallied a team-high 18 points and seven assists in the win, while Faber posted 16 points and eight rebounds. MU was led by Erika Davenport’s double-double (23 pts, 10 rebs), while Blockton scored 20.

St. John’s 70, Xavier 36
St. John’s (14-10, 7-6 BIG EAST) won its fourth consecutive game at Carnesecca Arena with a 70-36 triumph over Xavier (9-15, 2-11). One of three Johnnies to reach double-digits, Alisha Kebbe tallied 15 points and nine rebounds, while Maya Singleton and Wellere notched 12 and 11 points, respectively. Recording a double-double, Musketeer forward Imani Partlow finished the game with 11 points and 11 boards. Defensively, St. John’s held the Musketeers to 31.1-percent (14-of-45) shooting from the field and 2-of-12 (16.7%) from beyond the arc.

Seton Hall 75, Butler 64
Seton Hall came back to record a 75-64 win at Walsh Gym by outscoring Butler 30-16 in the fourth quarter. The Pirates went on a 15-0 run during a five-minute span to record the victory. Shadeen Samuels recorded her second career double-double with career-highs of 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead The Hall. JaQuan Jackson joined her at the top of the scoresheet with 18 points. Butler’s Tori Shickel scored a game-high 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds, collecting her ninth double-double of the season.
