SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's basketball team (16-16) saw its season end on Wednesday night in the first round of the WNIT, falling to Saint Joseph's (19-14) by a score of 75-57. Selena Philoxy (Queens, N.Y.) led The Hall with 13 points off the bench, the third straight game in double-figures for the freshman to close her rookie campaign.

The Pirates could never find their footing in the setback, going to the half down 11 and pulling no closer than nine early in the third quarter. Chelsea Woods led the way for Saint Joseph's with 20 points and 11 rebounds while Amanda Fioravanti added 19 points.

  • SJU shot 45.6 percent from the floor compared to a 43.6 percent mark for The Hall, but the Pirates were just 1-of-14 from 3-point range
