No. 10 Georgetown creates space atop the standings with eighth consecutive win.

NEW YORK – No. 10 Georgetown, Butler, Villanova and Marquette picked up wins in Game 4 of BIG EAST women’s soccer play on Thursday, while DePaul and Providence played to a scoreless draw to each take home a point. The Hoyas’ win gives them a two-game buffer against the next closest teams in the standings, which is now a four-way tie for second between the Bulldogs, Friars, Wildcats and Blue Demons. All 10 BIG EAST teams return to the pitch on Sunday with all five tilts kicking off at 1 p.m. ET, including Georgetown-Creighton on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi.
