Rookie Maddy Siegrist continues hot streak with 28 points in Villanova’s 63-51 win over Manhattan.

Villanova 63, Manhattan 51
Maddy Siegrist poured in 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Villanova to its second-straight victory with a 63-51 win over Manhattan. Siegrist, the reigning USWBA Freshman of the Week, added a team-high four blocks in the victory as Mary Gedaka recorded 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Raven Brown stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, five rebounds, and two assists of her own. The Wildcats (2-3) assisted on 15 of their 23 field goals and edged the Jaspers 44-33 on the glass to close out the victory.

-/RV James Madison 66, Georgetown 59
Despite a strong first half for Georgetown, the Hoyas fell to visiting -/RV James Madison 66-59 at McDonough Arena on Thursday night. GU (1-3) led the visiting Dukes 41-31 entering the intermission but scored only six points in the third frame to trail JMU by one going into the fourth quarter. Brianna Jones and Tayanna Jones led the Hoyas with 13 points apiece.
