No. 19/20 DePaul knocks off No. 16/17 Miami in Maggie Dixon Classic title game.

Chante Stonewall was named the Maggie Dixon Classic MVP after scoring 27 points and grabbing seven rebounds to lead the Blue Demons to the first top-25 win in the BIG EAST this season. The game of runs featured 13 ties and 25 lead changes, with DePaul (4-1) using one final 12-0 spurt between the third and fourth quarters to pull away. The Hurricanes went cold in the final stretch, going just 2-of-6 from the free-throw line and 1-of-5 from the floor in the final 90 seconds of a two-possession game. Conversely, Kelly Campbell went 6-for-6 from the charity stripe in the final 90 to seal the game. She finished with 11 points, seven assists, four steals and four rebounds.

Ball State 74, Butler 70
Butler took their first loss of the season (4-1) at Ball State on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs led by 10 going into the final 10 minutes, but the Cardinals would fight back with 25 fourth quarter points to earn their third win of 2019. Butler went on a 16-0 scoring run in the second quarter to win that frame 28-13, but Ball State outscored Butler 25-11 in the fourth. Kristen Spolyar (23) and Genesis Parker (22) are the first BU teammates to each score 20 in the same game since Tori Schickel and Whitney Jennings (3/28/19).

Wright 86, Xavier 74
Xavier hit a season-high 12 three pointers with four Musketeers connecting on at least one from deep. The Musketeers also scored a season-high 74 points and dished out a season-high 16 assists. Carrie Gross scored a career-high 15 points on 7-for-8 shooting. The guard added four steals, three rebounds and three assists. Wright State shot .507 from the field and won the battle of the boards, 47-33, scoring more than half their points inside the paint and adding 18 second-chance opportunities.
