BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Carlton McKenzie, Seton Hall, Sr., F (Birmingham, England)

Seton Hall senior forward Carlton McKenzie scored both of the Pirates’ goals on Saturday, including the game-winner 2:02 into the overtime period to help the Pirates earn an important road win at Marquette, 2-1. The win helped keep the Pirates in the hunt for a BIG EAST playoff berth. McKenzie’s goals were his fourth and fifth of the season.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Ramzi Qawasmy, Providence, So., D (Landsdale, Pa.)
Providence sophomore Ramzi Qawasmy helped the Friar defense hold Xavier to just three shots, two on goal in a 2-1 win for PC on Saturday. Qawasmy also scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute helping Providence earn three points in the standings and grab a No. 3 seed, home field advantage in the first round of the upcoming BIG EAST Championship.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Tomas Romero, Georgetown, Fr., GK  (Cherry Hill, N.J.)
Georgetown keeper Tomas Romero saved four Villanova shots as he preserved another shutout win for the Hoyas, 2-0, on Saturday. The win helped Georgetown secure at least a share of the BIG EAST regular-season title and a No. 1 seed. Romero has five shutouts on the year and a 7-0-0 record with 19 saves.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Jake Ashford, Creighton, Fr., D (Shawnee, Kan.)
Creighton defender Jake Ashford helped hold Butler to just three shots on goal while also scoring the game-winning goal in double overtime to help the Bluejays score a spot in the upcoming BIG EAST Championship. Ashford played 39 minutes against the Bulldogs as Creighton won 2-1. He took two shots in that time, including the winner in the 105th minute. It was his first goal of the year.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Bryce Gibson, Creighton, Sr., D
Gibson was awarded the assist on the golden goal against Butler in the 105th minute. He also helped limit the Bulldog offense to just three shots on goal.
Sean Zawadzki, Georgetown, So., D/M
Zawadzki helped limit Villanova to just eight shots, four on goal, to help Georgetown earn a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday.
Paulo Lima, Providence, So., M
Lima scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over Xavier. His goal in the 81st minute tied the game at 1-1.
Tani Oluwaseyi, St. John’s, So., F/M
Oluwaseyi  scored a goal and recorded an assist in St. John’s 4-2 win over DePaul on Saturday. The goal was his 10th of the season.
Samson Sergi, Xavier, RS-Sr., F
Sergi scored two goals, including the game-winning goal against UNC Asheville as Xavier went 1-1 last week. His lone shot went in against Providence on Saturday, giving Xavier a lead in the 34th minute.
