BIG EAST Championship Central
NEW YORK - The BIG EAST Conference announced today that Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio will be the home of the BIG EAST Baseball Championship through 2022, extending their partnership through five years. Xavier will remain the co-host of the annual postseason tournament which is held the week of Memorial Day Weekend each year.
Since 2018, Prasco Park, along with Xavier University has been the host of the baseball championship. This year's tournament kicks off Thursday, May 23 and continues through Sunday, May 26 in a double-elimination championship. Promotional events around the tournament include Thursday's Montgomery Inn night, Friday's LaRosa's Pizza night, Saturday's Prasco Ninja Warrior day and Championship Sunday Hero day.

Caffeine TV, the show will feature practice day interviews from players and coaches from each of the four teams in the field, analysis from D1baseball.com's Eric Sorensen and tournament week breakdown with BEDN commentators John Fanta, Matt Schumacker, Mike Schmaltz and Paul Fritschner. Philip Arington, Vice Chairman and Owner of Prasco, will join the crew to discuss the BIG EAST Prasco partnership extension.
Located on the campus of
Prasco Laboratories, the park opened on June 19, 2008, and has become one of the premier amateur baseball destinations in America. Prasco Park has a total seating capacity of 1,250, plus standing room space. There will be no charge for admission or concessions for BIG EAST Championship fans in attendance.
