No. 12 Georgetown, Xavier, Butler extend unbeaten streaks.

#12 Georgetown 7, Ohio 0 
No. 12 Georgetown wrapped up nonconference play with a 7-0 win over Ohio at Shaw Field. The Hoyas scored five of its seven goals in the first half to improve to 6-2-1 on the season. Paula Germino-Watnick and Amanda Carolan led the Hoyas with four points apiece. Freshman Anna Leat and junior Alyssa Navarrete split goal time. Leat made one save in the first half and Navarrete tallied two in the second. The win was the fourth straight for GU.

Xavier 1, Miami (Ohio) 0  
An early goal and another clean-sheet extended Xavier's unbeaten streak to five, topping the Miami Redhawks, 1-0, on Friday afternoon in Oxford. Samantha Dewey put the Musketeers ahead in the first 10 minutes with a goal off a free kick, the only goal the Musketeers (6-1-2) would need as the Xavier defense posted its fifth-straight shutout. Grace Bahr and Hayley Jakovich played the full time for Xavier's defense to help limit the RedHawks to just one shot for the game, with no attempts on frame. Toni Bizzarro earned her fourth win and third complete shutout of the season.

Butler 0, Utah 0 (2OT)
The Bulldogs made the long trip West for a Friday night match-up at Utah, as the teams battled for 110 minutes and played to a 0-0 draw. The contest marked the final non-conference match for Butler, which will enter the BIG EAST play with a 5-3-1 mark and unbeaten over its last two. The teams combined for 30 shots in the contest, including 13 on frame, but neither team was able to find the net through 110 minutes of play. Keeper Stephanie Rodriguez made five saves for the Bulldogs in posting her third shutout of the season.

FGCU 2, Creighton 1 
Despite a strong surge in the final 10 minutes, Creighton suffered a 2-1 loss at Florida Gulf Coast on Friday. The loss dropped the Bluejays to 6-2-0 on the season. Ashleigh Cearlock pulled the Bluejays within striking distance in the 84th minute, scoring with 83:48 showing on the clock. Cearlock bounced in a header from five yards, with sophomore Ansley Atkinson lofting the ball into the box. Creighton had one recorded shot and two additional corners in the final five minutes, but were unable to find the equalizer in the loss.

Northern Illinois 2, Marquette 1 (2OT)
Sophomore Macey Shock scored her first career goal in the 87th minute for the Golden Eagles (2-6-0) to send the match to overtime, but NIU's Madison Kaufmann ended it in the 102nd minute. Freshman Mel McNamara notched her first career start in net for MU, making two saves on the Huskies' four shots in a scoreless first half. MU outshot NIU 17-13 and held an 11-9 advantage in corner kicks.
