DePaul 1, #11 Kansas 0
The Blue Demons (2-3-0) earned the highest regular-season win by a BIG EAST team since 2017 as DePaul scored a 1-0 win over the 11th-ranked Jayhwaks at Purdue on Friday. The Blue Demons came out with a game plan in the second half and Jade Eriksen-Russo would act on it within the first 30 seconds, firing a shot straight to the right past Jayhawk keeper. It was the second goal the Jayhawks have allowed this season. KU would try and execute in the final 45 minutes but was unable to finish any of their chances, despite out-shooting the Blue Demons 20-5. Mollie Eriksson made three saves to preserve the shutout. DePaul faces No. 7 South Carolina on Sunday in West Lafayette.
