No. 16/17 DePaul 74, Creighton 71  
In a back-and-forth affair between two BIG EAST unbeaten squads, No. 16/17 DePaul (13-2, 3-0 BIG EAST) emerged victorious behind three clutch free throws in the final 35 seconds. After a Chante Stonewall free throw, Creighton (11-3, 3-1) had the final possession with 6.4 seconds remaining.  Kelly Campbell forced a Temi Carda turnover and sunk two free throws to seal the victory. Stonewall led all scorers with 26 points while Lexi Held connected five times from behind the arc to tally 23 points. For Creighton, Temi Carda led the scoring with 24 points including a perfect mark of 10-10 from the charity stripe. Jaylyn Agnew recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four assists and four blocks.

Villanova 67, St. John's 62 (OT) 
Villanova outlasted St. John’s in an overtime thriller 67-62 behind a combined 43 points from Mary Gedaka and Maddy Siegrist. After two consecutive Gedaka buckets stretched the VU lead to 56-52, Tiana England drove to the basket with 37 seconds remaining and laid it in to cut the deficit to two before two consecutive Wildcats turnovers allowed the Red Storm to tie the game and send it to overtime. A Gedaka three-point conversion and Raven James’ two free throws proved to be the difference in overtime as VU claimed its fourth victory in its last five contests to improve to 8-6 overall and 3-1 in BIG EAST action. Siegrist notched her league leading fifth double-double with 22 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. St. John’s (10-5, 3-1) was led by 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists from Tiana England while Qadashah Hoppie chipped in 14 points and five boards.

Marquette 60, Providence 50
Marquette picked up its first BIG EAST victory in the Megan Duffy era as the Golden Eagles outscored the Friars 34-23 in the second half en route to a 60-50 win. Lauren Van Kleunen led the charge for MU as the junior poured in 18 points and collected eight rebounds. The Golden Eagles (10-4, 1-2) won the boards battle with a 43-24 advantage which led to 10 second chance points for MU. Mary Baskerville paced the Friars with a career-high 24 points to go along with eight rebounds.  Kaela Webb chipped in 10 points while grabbing a game-high four steals. Providence (9-7, 0-4) forced 21 MU turnovers and converted for 20 points off of those miscues.

Seton Hall 79, Georgetown 60
Desiree Elmore poured in a team-high 21 points to lead three Pirates in double-figures as Seton Hall picked up its third BIG EAST win with a 79-60 win over Georgetown. Seton Hall (10-5, 3-1) jumped out to a fast start outscoring the Hoyas 23-8 in the first quarter. The Hoyas could not mount a comeback despite a largely even second quarter. Elmore shot 77 percent from the field and grabbed seven rebounds in just over 20 minutes of action to pace the Pirates. Shadeen Samuels notched 13 points to go with four rebounds, while Mya Jackson chipped in 12 points and a team-high five assists. Graduate transfer Taylor Barnes led the Georgetown (4-11, 1-3) attack with a game-high 26 points and six assists while Brianna Jones recorded 11 points and grabbed four boards.
