NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced its December women’s basketball television schedule on Thursday, with six league games slated to air across three networks prior to the holiday break. Eight different teams will be featured, beginning Dec. 6 when Seton Hall hosts Connecticut on SNY.
 
SNY will air the Huskies’ first four games of BIG EAST play, with the conference opener against the Pirates slated for a 1 p.m. ET start. SNY continues its coverage when UConn hosts Butler on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m., and Xavier on Dec. 19 at 1 p.m. Villanova will welcome the Huskies on Dec. 22, with tipoff on SNY slated for 7 p.m.
 
Now in its eighth year of its television agreement with FOX Sports, the BIG EAST will see reigning regular season and tournament champion DePaul visit Creighton on Dec. 22 in a game airing on FS1. Additionally, CBS Sports Network will feature Seton Hall at Georgetown on Dec. 22. Tip times for those contests have yet to be announced.
 
SNY is also slated to cover UConn’s non-conference tilt against Quinnipiac in the 2020 Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Challenge at Mohegan Sun Arena on Nov. 28 at 12:30 p.m.
 
The 16 remaining BIG EAST tilts between Dec. 4-22 will stream live on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi, including all five conference openers on Dec. 4.
