Creighton 63, 11/12 DePaul 61 
The Bluejays dealt No. 11/12 DePaul its first BIG EAST loss of the season, halting its winning streak at 10 games, by erasing a 22-point first-half deficit in Chicago. No. 11/12, DePaul is the highest ranked team Creighton has ever defeated. Down 43-25 early in the third quarter, the Bluejays went on a 16-0 run to get within two with 2:17 left in the frame. Creighton took its first lead of the contest with 5:48 left in the fourth and never trailed again, despite the Blue Demons holding the Bluejays off the scoreboard for the final three minutes. Olivia Elger scored a game-high 28 points to spark Creighton, which was without leading scorer Jaylyn Agnew for a fourth straight game. DePaul’s Chante Stonewall registered her second double-double of the season with 20 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. The Blue Demons and Bluejays split the season series with the games decided by a combined five points.

Villanova 66, St. John's 64 OT
The Wildcats knocked off the Red Storm in overtime for the second time this season, sweeping the series in dramatic fashion. Maddy Siegrist scored game-high 22 points, including the game-tying jumper at the end of regulation, to lead Villanova and remain atop the BIG EAST scoring column at 20.5 points per game. Alissa Alston led St. John’s with 21 points, sinking 9-of-12 attempts from the field. VU’s Mary Gedaka (16 points, 13 rebounds) and SJU’s Alisha Kebbe (13 points, 14 rebounds) added double-doubles. The Wildcats held a nine-point lead to close out the first quarter before St. John’s narrowed the advantage to seven at halftime. The Red Storm erupted for 24 third-quarter points before being held to nine in the fourth. The battle featured seven lead changes and six ties.

Seton Hall 61, Georgetown 47  
Alexis Lewis had a team-high 18 points, including 13 in the second half, as Seton Hall won at Georgetown, 61-47. Seton Hall trailed by as many as eight points early, and was tied with Georgetown at the half, but outscored the Hoyas 21-9 in a game-changing third quarter. Nikola Kovacikova led GU with game highs of 20 points and 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. The Pirates drained 10 three-pointers on the night, their sixth game of the season with double-digit threes. With the victory, Seton Hall sweeps the season series with the Georgetown.

Butler 63, Xavier 61 OT
Five Musketeers scored in double figures but Butler’s Kristen Spolyar registered game highs of 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the two-point overtime victory. Ayanna Townsend had team highs of 14 points and eight rebounds for Xavier. The Musketeers erased a 13-point deficit, punctuated by Morgan Sharps’ game-tying three-pointer with 16 seconds left, sending the game into overtime. Spolyar had eight of Butler’s 10 points in the extra period to tally her eighth 20-point game of the year. With the win, Butler scores the season sweep over Xavier.

Marquette 85, Providence 55 
Selena Lott scored a game-high 18 points while grabbing eight boards and dishing five assists as the Golden Eagles won for the seventh time in their last eight outings. MU committed just seven miscues on the night while converting 19 Friar turnovers into 28 points. Mary Baskerville led a trio of Providence players in double figures with 11 points. Marquette tallied 25 assists on 31 made field goals, with Taylor King dishing a game-high six dimes. The Golden Eagles swept the season series with the Friars with the win.
