BIG EAST Player of the Week
Nia Clark, Xavier, R-So., G
Clark was the BIG EAST’s top scorer among players with multiple appearances last week, averaging 21.5 points off .515 shooting along with 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals in a 1-1 week for Xavier against Miami (Ohio) and Valparaiso. Clark led Xavier in scoring in both outings, including a game-high 26 points on Sunday against Valpo to lead the Musketeers to their first win of the season. Clark was 10-of-18 from the field and added five assists against the Beacons.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Aneesah Morrow, DePaul, Fr., F
Morrow repeats as top rookie after averaging a double-double against a pair of top opponents. The rookie forward averaged 13.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.0 blocks, 3.0 steals and .429 shooting at No. 24/17 Texas A&M and against -/RV Northwestern. Morrow had a monster game in Sunday’s win over the Wildcats, going for 15 points and 17 rebounds while adding four blocks. She had 12 points, four rbeounds, six blocks and five steals against the Aggies.
