Down six with 5:39 left in the third quarter, UConn went on a 14-0 run to take an eight-point lead and stay ahead the rest of the way. Dorka Juhasz shot 5-of-5 for 16 points with 16 rebounds and Evina Westbrook added 17 points, seven assists and seven rebounds for the Huskies (6-2, 1-0 BIG EAST). UConn shot .410 from the field while limiting the Bruins to a .329 clip. The game was part of the Never Forget Tribute Classic at the Prudential Center in Newark, raising money for a 9/11-related charity. It's the first season women's teams competed in the event.

Seton Hall 70, -/RV Princeton 60
Andra Espinoza-Hunter had a game-high 21 points and Lauren Park-Lane added 20 points and nine assists as Seton Hall (4-4, 0-2) defeated Princeton on the road, 70-60, on Saturday. Seton Hall used a 10-0 run mid-way through the third quarter to pull away from Princeton for good and give the Pirates their first true road win of the season. The Hall posted season-best shooting percentages both from the field (.480) and from three (.438), while forcing 20+ turnovers (22) for the second time this season.

Providence 68, Quinnipiac 50
Playing their final non-conference game of the regular season, the Friars cruised to an 18-point win over visiting Quinnipiac on Saturday at Alumni Hall. Providence (6-5, 1-1) used a 20-8 second quarter to pull away from the Bobcats, and shot .435 on the afternoon to keep QU at bay. It marked the fifth time in the last six games PC shot north of .400. Janai Crooms notched her fifth double-double of the season to tie for the BIG EAST lead, tallying game highs of 24 points and 10 boards along with a game-best six assists.

St. John’s 83, La Salle 70
Danielle Patterson posted her third-straight double-double, pulling down a career-high 17 rebounds for the Red Storm on Saturday afternoon at Carnesecca Arena. For the second-straight game and the fourth time this season, St. John's eclipsed the 80-point plateau. With its win over the Explorers, the Red Storm (5-4, 1-0) remain undefeated in Queens with a perfect 4-0 record. Leilani Correa scored a game-high 25 points highlighted by five made triples. St. John’s shot .441 on the afternoon, marking the sixth straight game they shot 40-percent or better.

Marquette 89, North Dakota 65
Marquette (8-2, 2-0) tied the all-time program single-game assist record in a win Saturday afternoon at the Al McGuire Center, defeating North Dakota, 89-65. The Golden Eagles dished out 33 assists on 40 made shots in the win, tying the program record which has stood for over 30 years (Jan. 6, 1988 vs. UIC). MU shot an efficient 58.0 percent (40-of-69) from the field for its best shooting performance of the season. Seven different Golden Eagles had at least three dimes apiece, with Chloe Marotta leading the way with eight total dishes. Lauren Van Kleunen scored a game-high 20 points as Marquette picked up the wire-to-wire win.

Denver 100, Butler 94 (4OT)
Butler (0-9, 0-2) and Denver took part in the longest women's college basketball game of the season on Friday night inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. Playing through four overtime periods, the Pioneers would outlast the Bulldogs to win 100-96. Indeya Sanders hit a 3-pointer just before the buzzer with one second remaining in the third overtime to keep Denver alive. The Pioneers would ride that momentum into the fourth overtime and outscore Butler 14-8 during that five minute stretch to claim their fifth win of the season. Butler's offense came inside from Celena Taborn and Sydney Jaynes. Taborn scored game-high 33 points. She ended the game just four points shy of tying the single-game scoring record at BU. 33 points also ties her career-high.
