Heading into Monday’s regular-season finales, less than half of the seeds for the upcoming BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by Jeep have been solidified. Entering the weekend with three seeds confirmed – No. 1 UConn, No. 2 Marquette, No. 6 Creighton – two more were set by the end of Sunday as Villanova clinched the No. 5 seed on Saturday night and Xavier locked up the No. 9 seed with Sunday’s win over Georgetown. While the remaining six seeds are to be determined, each team has a clear path on where they could end up. For more on each team’s scenarios, see below. Today’s schedule: Butler at No. 24 DePaul at 5 p.m. ET on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi, available on FloSports; Seton Hall at St. John’s, 7 p.m. on FS1; RV Marquette at No. 1 UConn, 8 p.m. on CBSSN. The BIG EAST Tournament tips off Friday, March 5 and runs through Monday, March 8. BEDN, FS1 and FS2 will provide wire-to-wire coverage of the 10-game tourney at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
