Xavier 70, Georgetown 67 OT
Nia Clark (20 points) and Kae Satterfield (16 points, 15 rebounds) led Xavier to a 70-67 overtime win at Georgetown on Friday night at McDonough Arena. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Musketeers as Xavier improved to 7-11 and 2-7 in the BIG EAST. Georgetown fell to 6-10 overall, 1-7 in league. The game featured seven ties and five lead changes, with the Hoyas jumping out to an 18-4 lead to open the game before the Musketeers stormed back in the second to get within two at the half. Xavier took its first lead of the game with 3:36 left in the third, owning the advantage for just over a minute in regulation. XU’s next lead didn’t come until the 1:24 mark in the overtime period as the Musketeers closed the game on a 6-3 run to clinch the win. Georgetown’s Milan Bolden-Morris scored a game-high 21 points, while Graceann Bennett added a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds.

RV/- DePaul 94, St. John's 88  
The Blue Demons found themselves in a tight battle for the second time in three days as Friday night’s game at Wintrust against St. John’s (6-13, 2-7) featured 11 ties. Knotted at 84-84 with 3:21 remaining, DePaul (17-5, 9-2) scored five straight points to take a lead it would not relinquish. Lexi Held led four Blue Demons in double figures with 24 points to go along with eight assists and five steals. Aneesah Morrow notched her 14th consecutive double-double with 22 points and 18 rebounds. That streak is the longest among active players in the NCAA and her season total of 17 is tops in the nation. Kadaja Bailey led five St. John’s players in double figures with 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Danielle Patterson also reached the 20-point threshold, making 9-of-12 attempts from the field. Both squads shot over 50-percent on the night, with St. John’s posting a .529 clip and DePaul knocking down 50.6-percent of its attempts.

Creighton 95, Providence 71  
The Bluejays matched their season high with 95 points to score the season sweep of Providence (9-10, 4-6) on Friday in Omaha. Creighton (15-5, 10-2) saw four finish in double figures, including a game-high 20 points for Lauren Jensen, who made 7-of-10 attempts from the field and was 4-of-5 from three. Both teams shot north of 50 percent, with the Bluejays posting a .540 clip to the Friars’ .510 mark. Janai Crooms led a trio of Providence players in double figures with 16 points to go along with a team-best six rebounds.

Villanova 59, Butler 44  
Maddy Siegrist scored a game-high 23 points to lead Villanova (12-6, 6-3) to its ninth win in its last 10 games Friday afternoon at Finneran Pavilion. The Wildcats limited Butler (1-16, 0-8) to four second-quarter points to build up a double-digit lead. The Bulldogs were led by Trinity White’s 10 points, while Celena Taborn totaled eight points and eight rebounds. Lucy Olsen joined Siegrist in double figures with 10 points off 4-of-8 shooting. Villanova finished with a .397 shooting clip while holding Butler to a .288 mark.
