Maddy Siegrist, Villanova, Jr., F
Siegrist continued to impress, averaging 25.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and .476 shooting in a 2-0 week for Villanova. The junior forward tallied 23 points, nine boards and four assists in Friday’s win over Seton Hall. She followed that with 28 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in Sunday’s win over St. John’s. Against the Red Storm, Siegrist converted what proved to be the game-winning and-one with four seconds left to lead the Wildcats to the 70-68 victory. Villanova has won five straight with Siegrist averaging 27.8 points and 10.2 rebounds during that stretch.
