BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Jackson Castro, Creighton, So., F (Plano, Texas)
Castro led Creighton to a decisive 3-0 win over DePaul in the lone match of the week for the Bluejays, with three points on a goal and an assist. Jackson changed the tone of the match early in the second half with a goal in the 49th minute to push Creighton’s advantage to 2-0. His assist came in the waning moments of the contest, lofting a pass to the head of Alejandro Maillet in the 88th minute.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Charles Auguste, Creighton, Sr., D (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
Auguste anchored a Creighton defense that posted its second shutout of the season, limiting DePaul to just four shots on Saturday night. The Bluejays’ back line held the Blue Demons to two shots in each half and allowed just a pair of corner kicks.
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Cole Jensen, Xavier, R-Jr., GK (Council Bluffs, Iowa)
Jensen posted his BIG EAST leading eighth shutout of the season on Saturday, helping Xavier post a scoreless draw against Providence and lock up a spot in the BIG EAST Championship presented by Jeep. Overall, he made four saves in the win and his eight shutouts rank third in a single-season in program history.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Zenden Hart, St. John’s, Fr., GK (Booker Bay, Australia)
Hart stopped all four shots on goal that he faced in a scoreless draw with UConn on Saturday night to help keep the Red Storm's postseason hopes alive. Two of those saves came in the final 10 minutes of play. Hart lowered his goals against average to 0.85 on the year and raised his save percentage to .818.
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Gabriel Gjergji, Butler, Gr., GK
Gjergji made three saves in a shutout draw against Seton Hall, leading a defense that allowed the Pirates only three shots on goal during the match.
Frantz Pierrot, Connecticut, Gr., F
Pierrot played a crucial role in a 1-0-1 week for the Huskies, scoring a pair of goal in a 4-0 midweek win over Stonehill.
Ryan Schewe, Georgetown, Jr., GK
Schewe posted a shutout victory in net for the Hoyas, as Georgetown locked up the outright BIG EAST regular season title on Saturday. Overall, he made three saves in the 1-0 win over Marquette.
Blaine Mabie, Georgetown, So., M
Mabie tallied the match-winning goal early in the first half against Marquette, as Georgetown locked up the No. 1 seed in the BIG EAST Championship.
Konstantin Donalies, Seton Hall, Fr., D
Donalies played all 90 minutes on the back line in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Butler. Donalies helped in the effort to keep Butler's attack off the scoreboard for just the second time this season, and first time in BIG EAST play.
