BIG EAST Player of the Week
Maddy Siegrist, Villanova, Sr., F
Siegrist was the BIG EAST’s top scorer last week and No. 3 rebounder, averaging 26.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in wins at Marist and at No. 24 Princeton. The reigning BIG EAST Player of the Year opened the season with 21 points and 13 rebounds in a hometown win over the Red Foxes, before impressing with 32 points and 13 boards in a top-25 road win over the Tigers. For the week, Siegrist shot .556 from the field and was 10-of-11 from the charity stripe.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kaleigh Addie, Xavier, Fr., G
In a 3-0 week for the Musketeers, Addie averaged 11.3 points off .478 shooting to go along with 3.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds. The rookie shined in her debut, dropping 21 points off 7-of-11 shooting in a road win over Miami (Ohio). Addie came off the bench in all three games but finished second on the squad in scoring.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Lauren Jensen, Creighton, Jr., G – averaged 21.0 points, 3.0 assists and .485 shooting in road wins over No. 23 South Dakota State and RV South Dakota; game-high 30 points in road win over the ranked Jackrabbits
Azzi Fudd, UConn, So., G – 26 points, six steals, four assists and .529 shooting in win over Northeastern on Thursday; six steals tied for the BIG EAST weekly high
Aneesah Morrow, DePaul, So., F – 24.5 points, 10.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Blue Demons; shot .525 from the field and added 4.0 steals
Kadaja Bailey, St. John’s, Grad, G - 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and .654 shooting in a 2-0 week; 23-point, nine-rebound showing in season opener against Monmouth, shooting 10-of-13 from the field with three assists
Sidney Cooks, Seton Hall – tied for the BIG EAST lead in rebounding last week with 13.5 per game to go along with 22.5 points in wins over Saint Peter’s and at Rutgers; 29 points, 11 boards against the Scarlet Knights
