National Recognitions Roll In
For the second straight week, the NCAA.com Team of the Week goes to a BIG EAST program as Connecticut was selected on Tuesday. The then-No. 5 Huskies took down two top-10 teams last week, led by back-to-back 32-point performances by Azzi Fudd, who was recognized by ESPN.com as the national player of the week. Fudd has scored 90 points thus far, more than any other UConn player over the past 20 years in the first three games of a season. Villanova was recognized as the NCAA.com Team of the Week last Tuesday.
