Butler collected its fifth win of the season with a 58-48 victory over visiting Southern Indiana on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs (5-4, 0-2 BIG EAST) limited the Screaming Eagles to just 24 second half points to come out on top. Sydney Jaynes filled up the box score with a team-high 12 points to go along with eight rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots. The Bulldogs shot 50-percent from the field in the second half, including .545 from three, to pull away.

DePaul led by as many as 36 points in a wire-to-wire 78-52 victory over crosstown rival Loyola on Wednesday night. The Blue Demons (6-3, 1-0 BIG EAST) held the Ramblers to just 15 first-half points while pouring in 29 points off 19 Loyola miscues to pick up their fifth win in the last six games. Aneesah Morrow led the effort once again with 25 points and 14 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. Morrow recorded her seventh double-double of the season to push her career tally to 34.

Providence 62, Brown 44  
The host Friars used a 22-point third quarter to pull away from crosstown foe Brown Wednesday night at Alumni Hall. Providence (7-4, 0-2 BIG EAST) shot .511 on the night while limiting the Bears to a .264 clip. It marked the third time this season PC has shot 50-percent or better. Olivia Olsen had a career-high 22 points on 7-14 shooting. She also added a team-best eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Five of her eight rebounds came off the offensive glass.
