6/6 UConn 69, Princeton 64
Aubrey Griffin scored 19 of her 29 points in the second half to lead sixth-ranked UConn to a 69-64 victory over Princeton on Thursday. Griffin added 10 rebounds to record her second double-double of the year. UConn held off a furious rally by Princeton after Huskies starting point guard Nika Muhl was knocked out of the game early in the third quarter after a collision in the paint. Lou Lopez Senechal had 18 points and Aaliyah Edwards added eight for UConn (6-1).

RV/RV St. John’s 77, Iona 51
St. John's orchestrated a wire-to-wire victory over Iona, 77-51, on Thursday night. The Red Storm dominated the glass outrebounding the Gaels, 36-18, to propel itself to 9-0 at Carnesecca Arena. Jillian Archer anchored the convincing effort, impressively logging a double-double in the first half. The graduate student forward finished with a season-high 19 points and 11 points. Jayla Everett continued to fill it up, finishing with 14 points including shooting 4-of-6 from three-point range. The redshirt senior also dished a game-high five assists. With No. 14 Michigan and No. 12 Arizona losing on Thursday night, the Red Storm are one of 13 remaining undefeated teams in Division I.
