NEW YORK – The final Friday of the BIG EAST women’s basketball regular season will get a whip around treatment as the BIG EAST Digital Network will offer live look-ins and highlights from all five games on the night. With seeding still up for grabs for next week’s BIG EAST Tournament presented by JEEP, Friday’s lineup has all the makings of a dramatic night. Meghan Caffrey and Kim Adams will host the
Fastbreak Whip Around special live from the Rush Media Studios in Waunakee, Wis., with the five-game night getting a staggered start beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET. The live show will stream on FloSports and be free to all viewers. To tune in, click

Adams and Caffrey will preview the night’s lineup at 6:30 p.m., with the first tipoff slated for 7:02 p.m. when Providence hosts Marquette. Georgetown at Xavier follows at 7:04 p.m., before St. John’s at No. 7/8 Connecticut gets under way at 7:06 p.m. RV/- Villanova at Butler wraps up the first hour of the night at 7:08 p.m., before the nightcap between Seton Hall and DePaul tips at 8:03 p.m.
All five games will air in their entirety as well, with the Red Storm-Huskies game being televised on SNY, while the other four contests will stream on the BIG EAST Digital Network Presented by SoFi available on FloSports.
Entering Friday, only one seed has been clinched for the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament as UConn locked up the No. 1 seed last night and won the regular-season title for the 21
st time. The remaining 10 seeds will be determined between Friday and Tuesday, with the conference tournament tipping off a week from tomorrow at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Games with specific seeding implications include Seton Hall at DePaul. The Blue Demons can finish as high as tied for second place with Creighton, but will need to win both of their games this weekend, beginning with the Pirates. DePaul could also drop into the 4-5 game and potentially face longtime foe Marquette in the Quarterfinals.
DePaul’s opponent on Friday, Seton Hall, is still in the running for the last available First Round bye along with Marquette, which travels to Providence on Friday. The Golden Eagles currently have a one-game lead in the standings over the Pirates, while either team could end up in the 4-5 Quarterfinal game or find themselves battling it out on Day 1 in the 6-11 First Round matchup. The Friars, who took MU down to the wire earlier this season, could finish anywhere between the No. 7-9 seeds.
Winners of 16 of its last 18, Villanova has the possibility of finishing as a No. 2 seed but will need to get past both of its opponents this weekend, beginning with Butler on Friday. Meanwhile, Xavier has a two-game lead over its Friday opponent in Georgetown, with a Musketeer win locking them into the 8-9 game with the specific seed still up in the air. The Hoyas could finish anywhere between 8-11.
