BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Daniella Rhodes, Liberty, Jr., F (Durban, South Africa)
BIG EAST Preseason Offensive Player of the Year Daniella Rhodes opened her senior campaign right where she left off a year ago, finding the back of the cage four times to lead the ferocious Liberty attack. In the season opening 9-0 thrashing of Kent State, Rhodes registered five points on two goals and one assist, as Liberty was the only team in the NCAA to surpass seven goals in a game during opening weekend. Two days later, Rhodes carried the Lady Flames to a 2-0 road triumph over Indiana, tallying both goals. With 49 career goals, the reigning BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year is just one shy of becoming the fourth Liberty field hockey player to reach 50.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Cam MacGillivary, Old Dominion, Gr., GK (Calgary, Alberta, Canada)
Serving as a brick wall, Old Dominion goalkeeper Cam MacGillivary made 18 saves, while ranking second in the conference with a 0.783 save percentage through the opening two games. After corralling seven saves in a double-overtime affair at William & Mary, MacGillivary took her game to another level to anchor the Monarchs defense past No. 14 Boston College. The graduate student tied a career-high with 11 saves and held off several Boston College attempts in the final stages of a 3-2 win. Both goals the Eagles scored were off deflections, but in the second half she recorded eight of her 11 saves fending off every Boston College attempt.
