NEW YORK – For the second consecutive season, #17 Creighton (25-4, 16-2) and Marquette (20-9, 16-2) are the BIG EAST Volleyball Regular Season Co-Champions. With the tiebreaker advantage, Creighton earned the top seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Volleyball Championship which will be contested November 22-25 at the Al McGuire Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Marquette, the tournament host, earned the No. 2 seed. Both the Bluejays and Golden Eagles receive a first-round bye and will make their tournament appearances beginning in the semifinal round on Nov. 24.

St. John’s (21-9, 13-5) and Xavier (18-11, 11-7) clinched their spots in the tournament earlier this week, earning the third and fourth seed, respectively. Following play this weekend, DePaul (16-13, 9-9) collected the fifth seed. Villanova (17-13, 8-10) was awarded the sixth and final seed in the tournament following a tiebreaker advantage over Seton Hall.
