The Huskies (3-1) have won back-to-back games by an average of 25 points, while the Bruins (4-0) narrowly escaped Princeton’s upset bid 77-74 on Nov. 17 in their latest outing. UConn is 7-0 all-time vs. UCLA. The teams last faced off in the 2021 Never Forget Tribute Classic, a 71-61 UConn win.

BIG EAST women’s basketball teams combined for a 3-1 record on Wednesday and Thursday, highlighted by Seton Hall head coach Anthony Bozzella claiming career win No. 500. The Pirates (4-2) defeated East Carolina 68-57 on Wednesday at the Baha Mar Hoops Championship to capture the notable victory. Also on Wednesday, Providence improved to 3-2 on the year with a 57-40 win over reigning CAA Tournament champion Monmouth, while RV/RV Creighton (4-1) opened play at the Cancun Challenge with a 57-46 win over Georgia Tech on Thursday. Also on Thursday, St. John’s (2-3) suffered a 56-51 setback to VCU in its opening game of the Puerto Rico Classic.
