BIG EAST Player of the Week
Paige Bueckers, Connecticut, R-Jr., G
Bueckers averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 steals, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in a 2-0 week for the 17th-ranked Huskies. The redshirt-junior guard shot .762 from the field and .750 from three in wins over Ball State and No. 24 North Carolina. Against the nationally ranked Tar Heels, Bueckers had a game-high 26 points, adding four blocks and three steals. She was 11-of-14 from the field.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Ashlynn Shade, Connecticut, Fr., G
Shade becomes the third different UConn rookie to garner the BIG EAST weekly honor, averaging 12.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and .455 shooting in a 2-0 week for the Huskies. The freshman guard had a career-best 17 points off .455 shooting in Wednesday’s win over Ball State. She followed that with eight points, four rebounds and no turnovers in Sunday’s win over No. 24 North Carolina.

Anaya Peoples, DePaul, Grad., G – 20.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists in a 1-1 week; 22 points, nine rebounds in a win over RV Green Bay; team-high 18 points in narrow setback at RV Miami
Brianna Scott, Georgetown, Jr., F – game-high 21 points at Colgate to lead the Hoyas to their sixth win in a row; 7-of-9 from the field and added eight rebounds, two blocks and three steals
Olivia Olsen, Providence, Jr., F – sparked Providence to a 2-0 week with 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and .522 shooting; 7-of-10 from the field in Saturday’s win at Yale
Lucy Olsen, Villanova, Jr., G – league-leading scorer last week at 23.0 points per game; 32 points at Saint Joseph’s on Saturday, her fourth 30-point game of the season
