Lucy Olsen, Villanova, Jr., G
Olsen reached the 30-point mark in both games last week, averaging a league-best 31.5 points in a win over Richmond and two-point setback at Columbia. Against the Spiders Olsen tallied 30 points, four assists and three steals. She followed that with 33 points off 60-percent shooting, four rebounds and six assists against the Lions. Olsen remains the BIG EAST’s top scorer at 26.0 points per game, having reached the 30-point mark a league-high three times this season, and the 20-point threshold a conference-high six times.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Brittany Harshaw, Creighton, R-Fr., G
Harshaw had a career-high 14 points against Northern Iowa on Sunday, going a perfect 5-for-5 from the field, 3-for-3 from three, in 12 minutes off the bench. The redshirt freshman guard also snagged a rebound in the Bluejays’ record-tying win over UNI, matching the program record for points scored in regulation with 115.

Kelsey Ransom, Georgetown, Sr., G – in a 2-0 week for the Hoyas, averaged 14.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals; 16 points in Sunday’s win at Northwestern to reach 1,000 for her career
Mackenzie Hare, Marquette, So., G – in a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles, averaged 18.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and .579 shooting, including an .833 mark from three
Unique Drake, St. John’s, Grad., G – in a 2-0 week for the Red Storm, averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and .515 shooting; 24 points in win over Loyola (Md.) on Wednesday while reaching the 1,000-point career mark on Sunday
Micah Gray, Seton Hall, So., G – 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals in a 1-1 week for the Pirates; game-high 24 points, including the buzzer-beating game-tying three at No. 25 Princeton on Wednesday
