Untarnished On Tuesday
BIG EAST women’s basketball teams went 3-0 on Tuesday, with DePaul (5-4) starting off the day with a notable win over RV/RV Green Bay 68-64, before Georgetown (8-1) remained perfect on the road with a 61-40 victory at Colgate and Villanova (6-2) edged local foe Penn 68-62. Anaya Peoples led the Blue Demons with a game-high 22 points, sparking DePaul to its third win in its last four outings. In Hamilton, N.Y., Brianna Scott had a game-high 21 points to lead the Hoyas. Christina Dalce was the star for the Wildcats, erupting for 18 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks. Dalce has the two highest rebounding performances in the BIG EAST this season, with Tuesday’s showing being second behind an 18-rebound outing against Temple on Nov. 19.

Road Warriors
Georgetown’s hot start of 8-1 includes a 5-0 record in true road games. Only one team in Division I has more road wins than the Hoyas, as Saint Joseph’s is 6-0. Georgetown has won six in a row with four of those victories coming away from McDonough Arena. At 8-1, the Hoyas have their best start since matching that mark in 2002-03.

Two games are on the calendar for Wednesday with Providence (3-5) hosting Ocean State foe Rhode Island at 7 p.m. ET in a game streaming on FloSports, and No. 17/17 UConn (4-3) hosting Ball State at 7 p.m. in a game airing on SNY. Wednesday's game will serve as a reunion for the Mühl family as senior guard Nika Mühl faces off against her sister, Hana Mühl, a sophomore guard for the Cardinals. The Mühls' parents are traveling from Zagreb, Croatia, for the game.
