BIG EAST Player of the Week
Aneesah Morrow, DePaul, So., F
Morrow led the BIG EAST in scoring last week, reaching the 30-point mark in both games. At Creighton on Wednesday, Morrow went for a game-high 34 points off 12-of-23 shooting, draining a game-best six triples while grabbing six boards. In Saturday’s home win over Xavier, the sophomore had game highs of 30 points and 11 rebounds for her 18
th double-double of the season – fourth most in Division I – while also registered a game-best seven steals. For the week, Morrow averaged 32.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals with the points and steals totals leading all BIG EAST players.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Tara Daye, DePaul, Fr., G
Daye led the BIG EAST in assists last week, averaging 7.5 dimes per game at Creighton and against Xavier. Against the Bluejays on Wednesday, the rookie guard had 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists. She followed that with a 12-assist outing in Saturday’s win over Xavier, adding five rebounds and four points. For the week she averaged 7.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.5 assists.

Lauren Park-Lane, Seton Hall, Sr., G – 26.0 points, 5.5 assists in a 2-0 week; 31 points at St. John’s on Wednesday to claim the season sweep of the Red Storm
Maddy Siegrist, Villanova, Sr., F – league’s No. 2 scorer last week with 27.5 points off .579 shooting; 24 points, eight rebounds in Wednesday’s win over Marquette before going for 31 points and four boards in Saturday’s win at Butler
