22/21 Creighton 76, RV/RV Marquette 71
The Bluejays used a 22-15 fourth quarter to edge the visiting Golden Eagles by five to even the season series and stretch their winning streak to seven games. The game featured eight ties and eight lead changes, with Creighton (17-3, 8-2 BIG EAST) using a late 8-2 run to secure a two-possession lead late in the fourth. Morgan Maly led three Bluejays in double figures with 21 points off 8-of-14 shooting, while Marquette (16-5, 5-5) saw Liza Karlen tally game highs of 29 points and 10 rebounds. With the win, Creighton maintained its hold on second place in the BIG EAST standings.

DePaul 67, Butler 57
A decisive second quarter powered DePaul past Butler on Wednesday evening at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Blue Demons (11-12, 3-7) made their first five field goal attempts in the second stanza and ultimately outscored the Bulldogs 19-6 to turn a seven-point deficit into a six-point lead that remained for good. Four starters finished in double figures for DePaul led by a 24-point performance from Anaya Peoples. An 11-point third quarter pushed Peoples to her 10th 20-point outing on the year to go with five rebounds, four steals and three assists. Caroline Strande led Butler (9-12, 1-9) with 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

St. John’s 67, Xavier 55
The Red Storm led by just two to open the fourth quarter before outscoring the visiting Musketeers 21-11 in the frame to pull away late and score the win. Unique Drake led St. John’s (14-9, 8-3) with a game-high 24 points, while Jillian Archer added 17 points and nine boards. The win was the Red Storm’s third in a row and fourth in their last five games, as they remain alone in third place in the BIG EAST standings. Xavier (1-18, 0-10) saw Tae’lor Purvis and Mackayla Scarlett tie for the team high with 15 points apiece, with Purvis adding eight boards and Scarlett chipping in three dimes. The win gives St. John’s the season series against Xavier.

11/10 UConn 81, Villanova 60
Aaliyah Edwards scored 22 points, Paige Bueckers added 21 and No. 11 UConn (18-4, 10-0) used a red-hot second half to race past Villanova on Wednesday night. The Huskies made 20-of-28 shots in the second half (71%) and held the Wildcats to 10-of-30 to turn a one-point halftime lead into a 21-point win. UConn had a 16-14 edge in points in the paint at the break and finished with a 44-22 advantage. Lucy Olsen had 15 points to lead Villanova (13-8, 6-4). Zanai Jones added 14 and Maddie Webber 11.

Seton Hall 71, Georgetown 54
The Pirates shot 50-percent from the field to score a wire-to-wire win over the visiting Hoyas on Wednesday night in South Orange. Kae Satterfield scored a game-high 17 points as Seton Hall (13-8, 5-5) moved to .500 in BIG EAST play. Georgetown (14-7, 4-6) was led by Mya Bembry’s 12 points – Bembry transferred to GU from Seton Hall this summer. The win gave the Pirates the season sweep of the Hoyas and was their second victory in their last three games.
