BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Abby Harrell, Jr., OH, Villanova
Harrell contributed a pair of double-doubles in a 2-0 week for the Wildcats, leading the BIG EAST in both kills (4.75) and points (5.31) per set in victories over Providence (3-1) and UConn (3-1). The junior logged her 1,000th kill against the Friars, contributing 18 terminations, 12 digs, and a pair of blocks. Against the Wildcats, Harrell produced a match-best 20 kills with 10 digs and a pair of aces.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Kelsey Niesen, So., L, Xavier
Niesen averaged 3.63 digs per set as Xavier defeated Marquette (3-2) and DePaul (3-0) to move into second in the BIG EAST standings. The sophomore anchored a defense that held the Golden Eagles to .186 hitting, their lowest in conference play this season, with 19 digs.
BIG EAST Setter of the Week
Annalea Maeder, Sr., S, Creighton
Maeder dished out a BIG EAST best 11.67 assists per set, adding 2.17 digs, 1.33 kills, and 0.67 blocks per frame in sweeps of St. John’s and Seton Hall. In the victories, Maeder set the Bluejays to a conference high .316 hitting. Against the Red Storm, the senior contributed 31 assists, seven digs, six kills, and two blocks. Versus the Pirates, she produced 39 assists, two aces, two blocks, and two kills.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
McKinley Boehm, RS-Fr., MB, Xavier
Boehm averaged 2.38 kills and 1.38 blocks per set in road victories over Marquette and DePaul. Against the Golden Eagles, she logged a match-high six blocks in addition to eight kills. Versus the Blue Demons, she contributed 11 kills with five blocks.

Werkmeister averaged 4.86 points, 4.00 kills, and 2.57 digs per set over a 1-1 week.
Sydney Breissinger, Jr., DS, Creighton
Breissinger led the league with 4.67 digs per set as the Bluejays swept St. John’s and Seton Hall at home.
Ava Martin, Sr., OH, Creighton
Martin averaged 4.17 kills, 1.83 digs, and 0.33 aces in sweeps of St. John’s and Seton Hall.
Nora Wurtz, RS-Fr., MB, Creighton
Wurtz led the BIGE AST with 1.00 aces per set while hitting a massive .818 while averaging 1.50 kills per set.
Hattie Bray, Gr., MB, Marquette
Bray led the BIG EAST with 1.75 blocks per set over a pair of matches, adding 20 total kills on .293 hitting.
