BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Ava Martin, Sr., OH, Creighton
Martin averaged 5.75 points, 4.50 kills, 1.50 digs, and 1.17 aces per set while hitting .333 as Creighton swept Providence and UConn on the road. Against the Friars, she logged 16 kills, five digs, and three aces. Versus the Huskies, the senior contributed 11 kills, four aces, four digs, and a block.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Reagan McGivern, Fr., MB, Villanova
McGivern averaged a BIG EAST-best 1.75 blocks per set as the Wildcats went 1-1 on the weekend. Additionally, the rookie registered 2.25 kills per set on .438 hitting. In Friday’s setback to DePaul, McGivern contributed a career-best 10 kills and team-high four blocks. In Saturday’s victory over Marquette, she produced eight kills while posting a league-high 10 blocks.
BIG EAST Setter of the Week
Annalea Maeder, Sr., S, Creighton
Maeder averaged a conference-high 10.50 assists per set as Creighton led the league in hitting percentage (.316), kills (15.00/set), assists (12.83/set), and aces (3.33/set) over an undefeated weekend. Additionally, the senior contributed 2.33 digs, 1.67 kills, and 1.17 aces per set. At Providence (W, 3-0), she notched a match-best 38 assists with five aces and three kills. At UConn (W, 3-0), she dished out a match-high 24 assists with 10 digs, seven kills, and two aces.
BIG EAST Rookie of the Week
Samantha Soderlund, Fr., OH, Georgetown
Soderlund contributed 3.69 points, 3.25 kills, and 1.50 digs per set as Georgetown picked up a pair of wins at home. In Friday’s 3-2 victory over Marquette, the rookie registered a team-high 18 kills on .244 hitting with six digs, and two blocks. In Saturday’s sweep of DePaul, Soderlund contributed eight kills, six digs, two aces, and one block.

Lauren Evans, So., DS, Butler
Evans averaged 4.63 digs per set as Butler enjoyed a 2-0 weekend. Her career-high 26 digs against St. John’s (W, 3-2) are the most in a BIG EAST match this season.
Kamryn Lee-Caracci, Jr., MB, Georgetown
Lee-Caracci contributed 2.13 kills, 1.38 blocks, and 1.00 digs per set on .378 hitting as Georgetown defeated Marquette and DePaul. Her eight blocks against Marquette were a match-high.
Natalie Ring, Sr., OH, Marquette
Ring led all BIG EAST competitors this week with 5.22 kills per set while hitting .392. Georgetown plus
Erin Jones, Sr., S/OPP, St. John’s
Jones registered back-to-back triple-doubles in a pair of matches against Xavier and Butler. Against the Musketeers, she registered a team-high 21 assists with 10 kills and 10 digs. At Butler, she logged 19 assists with 18 kills and three digs.
McKinley Boehm, RS-Fr., MB, Xavier
Boehm averaged 2.43 kills and 1.29 blocks per set while hitting a BIG EAST-best .448 as Xavier defeated St. John’s and Seton Hall at home.
