Fitzgerald powered the Hoyas’ offense in a 3-1 BIG EAST victory over Quinnipiac, recording all three goals. Her hat trick marks just the second for Georgetown since 2010.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player/Freshman of the Week
Diane Saint Martin, Liberty, Fr., GK
Saint Martin led No. 7 Liberty to a pair of road wins, posting a 2-0 record with a 1.44 GAA, 16 saves, and an .842 save percentage. She tallied a career-high 12 saves and three shootout stops in the win over Temple before adding four saves against Longwood. The freshman leads the BIG EAST and ranks sixth nationally in GAA (0.87).

Sol Simone, UConn, Sr., M
Simone tallied a goal and two assists on the week, including the overtime game-winner in No. 20 UConn’s 2-1 win over Old Dominion.
 
Morena Giacosa, Liberty, Fr., D
Giacosa scored twice in Liberty’s 7-1 win at Longwood and played all 140 minutes over two road victories, including a shootout win at Temple.
 
Suus Broers, Old Dominion, Jr., GK
Broers made 12 saves over the weekend in back-to-back matchups against UConn and No. 8 Duke.

Magro scored both of Temple’s goals in a 3-2 shootout loss to No. 7 Liberty.

Trigg recorded a goal and an assist in Villanova’s BIG EAST 4-2 win over Providence.
