BIG EAST Offensive Player/Freshman of the Week
Zoé Gaillard, Liberty, Fr., F
Gaillard had a record-setting performance, scoring five goals in No. 7 Liberty’s 7-1 win at then ranked No. 17 Appalachian State. The freshman forward set a program single-game record and became the only player in the nation this season to score five goals against a ranked opponent.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Dara Semmartin, Liberty, So., D
Semmartin led Liberty’s defense to a 2-0 week. She assisted on the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Old Dominion and contributed a goal and assist in the victory at Appalachian State. The Flames’ defense allowed just six total shots across both games.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Sol Simone, UConn, Sr., M
Simone tallied a goal and an assist to help UConn earn wins over Providence and UMass.
 
Carly van Benten, Providence, Jr., F
Van Benten scored two goals in a 1-1 week for Providence. She tallied one in a 3-1 loss to UConn and netted the overtime game-winner at Vermont.
 
Peyton Rieger, Temple, Sr., M/F
Rieger recorded a goal and an assist in Temple’s 3-0 win at Quinnipiac.
 
Ava Borkowski, Villanova, Grad., F
Borkowski recorded four points on two goals in Villanova’s win over Georgetown.
 
Gemma Lysaght, Villanova, Jr., D
Lysaght tallied a goal and an assist while anchoring Villanova’s defense in a 5-0 shutout victory over Georgetown.
