MBB Minute – On Monday night both No. 3/3 UConn and Seton Hall cruised to victories to improve to 3-0 on the season. In the third game of the evening, Xavier fell to Santa Clara despite a career-night by Roddie Anderson III.

Tarris Reed added 19 points and eight boards and Silas Demary Jr. dished out nine assists. UConn made 10 3-pointers, including three apiece from Ball and Jayden Ross.

The Pirates' 20-8 second half run put the game out of reach, holding Fairfield under 60 points. Through the first three games of the season, Seton Hall is holding opponents to 56.7 points per outing.
