Seton Hall Improves to 4-0; Four Games Scheduled for Friday Night

MBB Minute – Seton Hall's strong second half lifted the Pirates to a win over Monmouth in the lone BIG EAST contest of the night.  The undefeated Pirates are the first BIG EAST team to win four games on the season.

Trailing at the break (34-27), Seton Hall used a 10-2 run to start the second half and never looked back.  SHU has held each of its first four opponents under 62 points on the scoreboard. Tajuan Simpkins led four Pirates in double-digits with 14 points, while Budd Clark and AJ Staton-McCray each added 13 in the win. Freshman Najai Hines tallied seven points, eight boards, and seven blocked shots.
