UConn Still on Top
The UConn Huskies remain No. 1 in the AP Top 25 Poll following another 2-0 week. The team will take on #6 Michigan on November 21 at 8 p.m. as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase. The game will be played at Mohegan Sun Arena and aired on FOX.

Sarah Strong was exceptional for the Huskies as she had a career-high tying 29 points, 13 rebounds, a career-high seven assists, five steals, and three blocks. Strong’s double-double was the 14th of her young career. Freshman Blanca Quinonez scored 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting off the bench. Azzi Fudd (18), Serah Williams (12) and Ashlynn Shade (10) also registered double digits. UConn forced nine turnovers in the final 5:03 of the first half. This was the team’s first meeting since the 2023 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, when the Buckeyes won, 73-61.
Villanova 84 at James Madison 73

Brynn McCurry paced the Wildcats with a career-high 18 points, five rebounds and a career-high seven assists, while Jasmine Bascoe had 17 points. Ryanne Allen finished with 14 points as she hit three treys for nine points in the third period. Kennedy Henry chipped in 11 points and Kelsey Joens had 10 points. Both Henry and Joens went 4-for-7 from the field. Villanova made 10 three-pointers in the first three quarters.
Seton Hall 79 at Pacific 57

Seton Hall had four players finish in double figures – Mariana Valenzuela (16), Jada Eads (14), Jordana Codio (13) and Savannah Catalon (10). Eads added six steals and five assists. Seton Hall scored 36 points off 26 Pacific turnovers. The 26 forced turnovers marked the third straight game the Pirates have forced at least 20 turnovers.

Lily Zeinstra led the charge for Butler with 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field and four assists, while Caroline Dotsey scored 12 points. Saniya Jackson and Mallory Miller both contributed 10 points apiece. Miller added eight rebounds, all on the defensive end, four assists and two steals. BU forced 19 turnovers to mark the seventh-straight game that the team has forced double-digit turnovers. The Bulldogs outscored Northern Kentucky, 46-20.

Box Score
Kate Novik finished with 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Natiah Nelson scored 16 points for her fourth-straight game in double digits, to go with nine boards. Aizhanique Mayo was the third DePaul player to score double figures with 11 points, nine of which came from the three-point arc. DePaul outscored Northwestern 24-12 in the fourth quarter, including a 16-1 run, but the deficit was too much to overcome.
